II. TROOP MEETINGS

A.    TROOP MEETINGS
Troop meetings are held the 1st, 2nd and 4th Monday from 7:00 p.m. to 8:45 p.m. Activities include:

·         Skills Development
·         Games and Fun
·         Advancement
·         Camp out Planning

B.    WHO SHOULD ATTEND:

·         Scouts
·         Scouters (Adult Leaders)
·         Parents are welcome anytime
·         Guests/Potential members

C.    EXCEPTIONS

No Troop meetings are held during:
·         Church Revivals
·         Week of summer camp
·         Week between Christmas and New Years Day
·         Spring Break

D.    BAD WEATHER
·         Troop meetings are held regardless of weather.
·         Calling chains will be used if a meeting must be cancelled.
·         The final decision is with the individual Scout’s parents.

E.    CAMP OUT PLANNING
·         Began two weeks before camp out.
·         Finalized the Monday before camp out.

F.    PATROL MEETINGS
·         Meetings of patrols are recommended once per month.
·         It is the responsibility of the Patrol Leader to select a location (usually a Scout’s home) and to call the
.         meeting.
